Gram Parsons

Gram Parsons "etelän herrasmies" oikealta nimeltään Cecil Ingram Connor, III, Winter Heaven, Florida 5. marraskuuta, 1946 – 19. syyskuuta, 1973) oli yhdysvaltalainen laulaja, lauluntekijä, kitaristi ja pianisti. Yhtyeitä, joissa Parsons soitti, olivat The Shilos, The Byrds, The International Submarine Band ja The Flying Burrito Brothers. Gram Parsonsia pidetään country rockin yhtenä suurimmista edelläkävijöistä. Levyt GP ja Grievous Angel Parsons teki Emmylou Harrisin kanssa.

Parsons kuoli 26-vuotiaana morfiinin ja alkoholin yliannostukseen Joshua Treessa, Kaliforniassa.
