Chronicles of Hethenesse Book 1: The Shadow Descends on suomalaisen metalliyhtyeen Furthest Shoren ensimmäinen studioalbumi. Se on julkaistu vuonna 1999 levymerkillä Skaldic Art Productions.
Vuonna 2007 norjalainen levy-yhtiö Problem Child Records julkaisi albumista 400 kappaleen rajoitetun vinyylipainoksen.[2]
